Santas March 2011 Newsletter |

|
Hi all,
Its been a short while since our last update in January but we've been waiting for all of the funds to come in, and now its time to announce our grand total for the 2010
event:
£6,036.71
(this doesn't include sponsorship money given directly to the RNLI)
Well done to everyone that made an excellent effort to raise these much needed funds for a great charity! Hopefully our 2011 event at the NDAC can be even bigger and better raising
more funds and, importantly, having much more fun!
The 2011 event has been in planning for some time and we already have two confirmed corporate sponsors. Divelife.com have once again decided to be part of the event, and additionally
simplyscuba.com will be making a big donation to the event as well. There's hopefully much more of that to come, with lots more money for charity and some great scuba related gifts
for attending divers!
We hope that everyone who won raffle prizes has now received them and is enjoying playing with their new diving toys!
We're looking forward to seeing you all at the 2011 event. If you have any photos of video to share please
get in touch with us ([email protected]).
Wishing you a happy and safe 2011, Lloyd.
18th December 2011 from
9am, National Diving and Activity
Centre, nr. Chepstow

Extreme Underwater Ironing
|
 |
|
If you're not yet tired of trying to break world records and/or raising money for charity, why not get yourself to the NDAC on 3rd April 2011 for another attempt at the
Guiness world record holding event extreme underwater ironing?
Stealing the record away from an Australian group in 2009, this year's event looks to increase that lead further and keep the record in the UK! Extreme underwater ironing involves getting
underwater in your dive gear with a few extra pieces of essential equipment, namely an iron, ironing board, and something that needs ironing!
This is a great event which this year will be supporting three excellent charities:- Families of the fallen
- The Scuba Trust
- RNLI
Registration is available through the website as well as sponsorship forms and posters to put up at your local dive club.
What are you waiting for? Get involved in an excellent, fun diving event in order to help some good causes and hopefully break the Guiness world record once again!
Extreme Underwater Ironing - 3rd March from 9am - NDAC, Chepstow
