This years event will once again be held at Vobster Quay and will take place on the 20th December 2008.

Provisionally it is planned to be in the water for 10:30am after having group photographs (with or without scuba gear) around 9:45am.

Update from Tim @ Vobster Quay:

  1. Carparking. I’m hoping to fit everyone in, but between the list of people who have rung up and the mysterious world of YD codenames, there is the possibility that some are double (or perhaps, not at all,) booked. So unless you know I know who you are (?), please help us out with a quick call to confirm your car parking.
  2. Diving. I don’t really want to get my long retired ‘Dive Marshal’ hat badge back out, but it looks likely…. My plan is to get everyone in and kitted up for about 1020 am and then aim to dive at 1030am. If we do have the numbers promised on the actual day, we’ll do some dividing into groups to help us get some video of all the santas underwater, probably on the Jacquin (18m) and Wheelhouse (16m).
  3. 2nd dive around 1pm if anyone is keen. Same deal
  4. Mincepies, chestnuts, mulled wine afterwards.
